Spicewood, TX

The project involved clearing and cleaning the property as outlined in the attached map for a future subdivision. Within the area boundaries marked by the yellow lines, a combination of grubbing, piling, open burning, and light mulching was used to remove cedar, scrub brush, and mesquite. The mulch produced was spread evenly across the area with Barkos, leaving behind a minimal environmental footprint with no significant impact on the landscape. Good hardwoods were preserved, and some old growth cedar was left intact to maintain tree diversity. Kleensite provided  4,000-gallon water trucks on standby to ensure safety and to extinguish the fire at the end of each day.  Chainsaw labor was used around the trees that were saved to ensure a clean finish. The goal was to achieve a clear line of sight across each lot, while leaving a buffer along the perimeter where road traffic could see in.
