A developer was seeking to clear the entire 156 acres of his commercial real estate. All cedar, mesquite, and other trees with trunks under 10 inches in diameter had to go and were mulched using 2 Barko machines and excavators with mulching attachments. Good hardwoods, primarily oaks with trunks over 10 inches in diameter, were preserved and left in place.
